Fenerbahce Announce Amrabat Agreement with Fiorentina

Official: Fiorentina and Fenerbahce Strike Deal for Sofyan Amrabat

Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce have officially announced an agreement with Italian Serie A outfit Fiorentina for the transfer of midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

Deal Details

According to Fenerbahce's statement, the Turkish club will pay Fiorentina a transfer fee of €4 million for the 26-year-old Moroccan international.

Amrabat has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Fenerbahce, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2026.

Amrabat's Career

Amrabat began his professional career with Dutch club FC Utrecht before moving to Club Brugge in Belgium.

He joined Hellas Verona in Serie A in 2019 and spent two seasons with the Italian club before making the switch to Fiorentina in 2021.

Amrabat has represented Morocco at international level, earning 24 caps and scoring two goals for his country.

Fenerbahce's Transfer Business

Fenerbahce have been active in the transfer market this month, having already signed Lincoln Henrique from Al-Taawoun and Emre Mor from Fatih Karagumruk.

The addition of Amrabat further strengthens Fenerbahce's midfield options as they aim to challenge for the Turkish Super Lig title.

Fiorentina, on the other hand, have sold Amrabat to raise funds for potential reinforcements during the January transfer window.
